As a Freelancer I have created a multitude of WordPress sites and was becoming frustrated that I was unable to monitor them from a central place. Luckily I found an excellent plugin and app that will enable me to Monitor WordPress Sites. The app is called WP Remote and it is free to use!

You will be automatically be logged in after registration.

Click on +Site to add your WordPress Site

WP Remote Install Plugin Screen
Click on Install Plugin. You will be directed to your WordPress Dashboard where you will be able to install the plugin.

In your Worpress Dashboard, click on “Install” to Install the plugin.

WP Remote Enter API key
After successful installation of the plugin, you will be prompted to enter your API Key. Click on the WP Remote tab and copy your API key. Click on ‘Save API Key”

With successful installation you will get this message. Close the current tab to access your WP Remonte Dashboard

Click on the ‘Refresh’ button to finish the installation.

WP Remote Monitor
When one of your sites needs an update, you will see an orange button with a message about what needs to be updated. All you need to do is to click on the ‘Update’ button to update the plugin or anything that needs to be updated.
